24 Hour of synopsis of seismic activity and symptoms.
Today there has been a lot of quake activity, most of it has been in Chile, Mexico, Indonesia
and parts of the African Continent.
The largest quake in 24 hrs was a 5.4 in China then 5.2 in the Philippines.
Then we have a 5.0 in China. The quakes continue in Taiwan with a 4.3 and 4.8
Then we have the Western TX coming in a 4.3
Iceland has had about a half dozen quakes not a big surprise since they just had a volcanic eruption in the last 48 hrs. Chile continues to dominate the quakes with Mexico and as I wrote in my update this one is headache and facial pain and eye pain but its also emotional so pay attention. Vision is not great today.
cats sick, ants busy, no spider Balance is bad with clumsiness but it is seemingly a bit better tonight.
Indonesia with Flores and Banda seas are also on the list and that ties into more shaking in Indonesia.
Tonga and Fiji has been active and I am still picking up the mid lower back pains. So expecting more.
Ecuador and Azores have both been showing up today. I had not looked at the quake list my post was before I knew saw the quakes. The only area I checked on was for my area. Had popcorn for dinner tonight. Talked to friend in Oceanside and she was echoing my symptoms sharp heart pains stomach pains and headache. We were both drinking Peppermint Tea and sucking on peppermint candy.
So at this time, headache, dizzy, vision off, L side rib pains, Oceania, and R side earache Taiwan etc. Just hit, L side earache India/Pakistan/Afghanistan China.
Far too many quakes to list today but they are all over the globe mostly in Mexico, South/Central America and Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan and others in that area. 11:29 PM PDT
Remember we are in a timeline for possible 7.0 or greater quake by the 18th of April.
Short updates as needed through out the day each time will time it on the blog.
First update 11:17
The main symptoms I have are heart symptoms between moderate and strong. This is Southern Ca into Mexico and Mexico proper. It includes the Imperial Valley which involves the locations of Baja CA MX and Gulf Of CA.
Mexico the main locations I have been watching are Oaxaca, Guerrero , Jalisco and Chiapas. Sometimes with the symptoms its also Puebla. So when I checked the quakes list this morning I found multiple quakes in Mexico in Chiapas, Oaxaca and Jalisco, as well as the Imperial Valley locations. Upper back hurts so expect more in Indonesia and the mid low back, even thought there has been some quakes in the area, I am still looking at more for Tonga and Fiji. Break to take care of cats. end 11:49
At 1:25 PM this afternoon I was just kicking back and all the sudden the needle sharp jabbing pains started. There were only 5 jabs but that was plenty They really hurt. Its like a knife being stuck in your chest. This is classic type of heart pains for both S CA and into Mexico. I remember Mexico as sharp but the pain was just under the arm and around the ribs, this one was center of the chest to the L side. Since I am watching the Imperial Valley which can include into Mexico as well as San Diego area and Gulf of CA as well as Baja CA MX. so that would be my best guess. we are looking at a S CA Mexico symptom The only other place that can include this kind of heart pain symptoms is Japan if the quake is over 6.0-6.5 So far the sharp L shoulder blade spasms have not made an appearance. Craving sugar all day. Had to eat some candy it felt like an addiction. I guess they say Sugar is a drug, when the craving you experience before some quakes its like that. I actually was going to make some popcorn but wanted to update this page first. So popcorn is on the table as well.
Watching the Azores, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Oceania, both legs are extremely painful today hopefully some seismic activity will relieve it
We had the 2.6 a/s for NJ today which I was expecting grateful it was not larger.
Its 6:29 PM I just checked the cats to change their water, and noticed that at least 1 maybe 2 of them were sick between 11 AM and now. The ants are active I also checked the http://www.pnsn.org link and there have not been any quakes in Oregon since early on the 9th. So based on my symptoms headache and really unstable on my feet I suspect we are looking for a quake either inland/ offshore Oregon likely off Bandon or Coos Bay or possibly nearer to home like the valley, Canby or Roseburg? The other option is Big Bear, and Simi Valley I am not picking up the symptoms for Big Bear but Simi Valley could be a contender.
Remember When: Today is April 10 and it stands out in a couple of ways. 1 today is my eldest brother’s birthday he is 80 years old and I am not that far behind him. But the memory that really stands out is my experience in Seattle Washington March 30-31st 1981. Project Migraine had just been activated. A volunteer project from the US Library of Congress. I had been given an appointment in Seattle at the Institute Of Applied Physiology and Medicine I had been referred there by a doctor at the Chronic Pain Clinic University Of AZ at Tucson.
They had a hyperbaric Decompression Chamber on site. So I was there to have tests in the chamber to see what if anything I would feel or hear that might be causing my symptoms and sounds. So I had been there one day and then I still had one more day. I was staying at a motel but a friend in Seattle area suggested his parents call me and they did and I ended up staying at their home a couple of days.
As fate or timing would have it a man called me from Salem, apparently he had come here to see me from Germany he was a geophysicist and was very interested in what I was doing. So when he found I was only 2-3 hours away he rented a car and came to see me where I was staying. Dr. Linnander was and is still a special friend. So as it went I thought it would be good to go to the University of Washington USGS Geology Office, you know what they said ‘ Pride Goeth before a fall ” I wanted to show off to the geologists I had been talking to for over a year about St Helen’s and other seismic activity like Look at me, I have a geologist who came to see me from Germany, you get the idea.
Well we went to the USGS office and I met a couple of guys I had been speaking to. The room was full of probably 20 or more seismographs each of them set on different locations and mountains. Many of them were on St Helen’s and the other Cascades as well as various other locations around the PNW and elsewhere. It was only about 10 minutes later I was hit with a major attack of seismic flu. I was sick.
I headed for the bathroom and came out about 10 minutes later so weak and pale I was barely able to hold the glass of water they gave me. I just knew without a doubt that I had to get out of and away from the USGS office. I thanked them and told my friend I have to go, now. We made it back to where I was staying I immediately went to bed. I did call the USGS to see if anything was happening at St Helen’s was told no all was quiet. I then called Chris Dodge in Washington, DC and made a report I felt that something was happening at St Helen’s. I just wanted it on record.
So after a few hours the decision was made to take me to the hospital ER in Bellevue. I spent the next 6 hrs hooked up to monitors for my BP and heart and was on oxygen. Then all the sudden the symptom’s lifted. I was cleared to go home. I was ok got a bit of sleep and called Chris again and told him I believed that St Helen’s was going to be erupting soon. He called me back and said he had talked to the CVO ” Cascade Volcano Center who monitor St Helen’s 24 hrs a day at that time They told Chris that it was absolutely not true the mountain was totally quiet. So I was trying to get ready for my drive back to Salem I just needed to get away from that area. I recall the words from my neurologist who did some testing with me back in 1980 Dr Frank Yatsu.. ” Charlotte stay away from strong magnetic fields or active volcanoes “You will be a permanent basket case or it will kill you” I believed him.
So arrived home without incident but I was experiencing the preharmonic tremors I would get before eruptions, balance issues, headache, intense sound etc. So the next day was April 2 and I rec’d a call from Chris in Washington and he said ” one of my buddies here in Washington, came up to me and said ” Have you heard the news? Chris said ” No, what news ” ? Then his friend told him ” We just received word Mt St Helen’s is on full eruption alert.” So I was vindicated. Then they asked my when? I just blurted April 10. It erupted on April 10 with a classic volcanic eruption, added at 1:25 PM PDT Charlotte King Memories from 1981 ©
Will update standard information when I do the final post late tonight.
Updates… throughout the day
Its about 10:30 PM and at 7:15 PM tonight I was watching TV and was hit with ” Frogs” they did not last long but unlike the ones earlier there was no question as to what they were. These were on the top R upper arm. In the past this has been part of Taiwan and there are other locations connected which are in the table and on the cheat sheet but for brevity I will just add them here. Most likely would be Puerto Rico, then there is Leeward, Windward, Trinidad, and Virgin Islands. So that’s one area. The stomach pain that hit soon after the “frogs” led me to look in different directions. 1st. Mexico and then the Cascades, Sierras including Mammoth and Ridgecrest, and then Imperial Valley including Borrego Springs, and Gulf of CA, Baja CA MX as well as Mexicali and Calexico. Landers quake zone including Yucca Valley and Big Bear. Simi Valley. Seismic Flu hit a bit after 9:30 PM
So we look at the Wasatch New Madrid and Temecula CA or Palm Springs, Italy * Ears and Heart *. this one is so hard to know since I am watching multiple areas like above then then these are naturally NJ, OK, TX, AL, ID, UT and VA as well as IL, MO, TN and VT obviously there are many more but these are the ones I have been watching the last few days. I am also watching AK, Iceland and Philippine volcanoes. Indonesia volcanoes can also cause more intense symptoms. Japan L shoulder blade is more painful again
Full upper back Indonesia and the headache which has been mostly all over but also is temple to temple with most of the pain on the L side which is still Chile. With the number of quakes in Chile, I just hope that things stay calm. Watch driving, road rage is common, instant anger for no reason, spur of the moment decisions, persons who are bi polar or manic depressive often have had to get medication adjustments during these times. Lots of dizziness and balance issues. Vision is not good but again nothing so far for Oregon. One cat sick about 10:ish tonight but my male who was sick, tends to eat fast and that could be part of the problems but as I said one or more of them had been sick overnight last night the 9-10th. Leg pains are really a problem again tonight. Mostly the R one this time. So watching for Peru/Brazil/Columbia/Guatemala/ Panama and Nicaragua . If its the L leg knee it will be quakes in Guatemala and Ecuador.
Hoping that the Azores stay quiet as well as the countries that sit on top of the African Plate. Beginning to get just the first symptoms for solar flu. Its been a while but if it keeps building I will determine what kind of an event and send a message to my contact who works in this field of solar activity.
