Yesterday Today and Tomorrow April 14, 2024

This is a 12-24 hour synopsis of activity and symptoms that I and others may be feeling * since midnight* Feel slightly better this morning. The main symptoms I am experiencing this morning are headache, mostly frontal and visions issues * some could be my vision* and the mid and low back pains. Some L shoulder blade pains and R and L knee pain. Largest quake today *largest quakes today , since midnight. This is so far as of 10 AM PDT. There were 2 quakes 4.9. in Tonga and 4.9 in the Marianas. Just In… 5.2 (4.8) offshore Guatemala 12:15 PM PDT they lowered the magnitude for this one. Guatemala has a history of many quakes with damage, injuries and loss of life. The last major event was in 2012 a major 7.4 hit Guatemala on November 7th. The most recent was a 6.2 on January 26, 2024 ( this is one of the locations I watch closely as a symptom it really affects the knees ) Quakes in the United States today, since midnight. Only 5 so far today. there was a 2.2 near Clear Lake near The Geyser’s N CA, and 2.5 near Gilroy also part of what I consider The Geysers, a 2.4 near Ridgecrest in Central CA, 2.2 in W. TX , 2.3 Lone Pine CA, and just in, 2.0 – 5 miles from Oxnard, in Southern CA, and 2.5 Baja CA MX. Small to Moderate quakes, these are quakes under 4.0 but seem to be more active. Straits of Gibraltar, Argentina, Chile, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico, Hawaii, Greece, Panama, Italy, C.Peru, Switzerland, France, Azores, Philippines, and Oceania and Nicaragua. All locations where there has been a quake of 4.0 or greater in the last 12 hours.Hindu Kush, Afghanistan, Taiwan, N Peru, Mindanao, Philippines, Samar,Indonesia, Ecuador, Fiji, Tonga, Near Islands, Aleutians, Chiapas, MX, N. Island, NZ, Babuyan Islands, Philippines, Tarapaca Chile, Kuril Islands, Kermadec Islands, NZ, Honshu Japan, Molucca Sea, Xinjiang, China. Location where I expect to see quake activity: Within 12-72 hrs. Based on past experience with symptoms and patterns. Areas I am watching today continue to be Turkey and Indonesia as well as Italy and Greece. I am also watching Mexico and the Imperial Valley of S CA. Philippines, AK and Hawaii. The Azores, Straits of Gibraltar and parts of Northern and or Central CA including The Sierras and into the Central Valley. Some activity expected in W TX and OK as well as ID, NM, UT, KS possibly including OH, MO/TN and IL Its 11:15 AM PDT update. At this time my strongest symptom is the headache mostly frontal which can mean a couple of different things. Most likely is volcanic origin events, then we look at Chile, and finally N CA. Back pains are almost a daily symptom lately. Most of the pain at this time is centered across the full upper back which is Indonesia, and then the L shoulder blade area which for me is Japan and then the mid low back of Tonga and Fiji as well as the extreme low back pains which is the Wasatch/ New Madrid area. I have a bit of pain behind the R shoulder which would be Kuril Islands again. Vision says pay attention to Oregon and S CA Simi Valley and Big Bear. Still expecting more in the Landers Quake Zone. The Geysers of N CA and even the Loma Prieta Quake Zone could see a bit of activity around San Jose or Morgan Hill/Santa Cruz. ( this one is a bit of overlap from others in that area so its iffy but I am picking up the symptoms. Temple to temple headache and achy heart pains. R side earache goes with many locations but mostly Indonesia, Philippines, Hawaii, Taiwan etc. L earache earlier which ties into China, Afghanistan, India/Nepal and Pakistan. Stomach pains go with both Nepal/India and Imperial Valley CA. Add sharp heart pains and you add Palm Springs, Whittier and Pasadena as well as Italy, Sicily and Greece/Crete and Turkey. * African Plate Locations including Straits of Gibraltar, and South Africa, Pyrenees, Spain, Canary Islands, Italy, Morocco, and Portugal. So more and stronger activity in any of these locations would not be a surprise. 7:14 PM Since midnight I have added a Primary and Secondary Precursor areas I watch, to the current timeline for a major quake which goes through 6 AM the morning of April 18th. Its 7:10 PM and I was checking the quakes and see that there has been at least 6 quakes in a very short time in the Azores, as I noted above, it was one location I am mildly to moderately concerned about watching the Azores and S. Africa and connected countries. First update today 11:45 AM, 12:18 PM

The main symptoms I have been feeling today. The main area I have been feeling is the back and legs, knees. They really hurt but I know as soon as we get more quakes they will feel better. I also have had some rib pains both side which go with R side Domino Islands and the L side Is Oceania which mostly its been Kermadec Islands but there is also connections to other areas of NZ like N and S Island and Christchurch and Papua New Guinea including New Ireland and New Britain and Eastern New Guinea PNG even Australia has had some activity in recent days.  This makes up the area of Oceania as I have on the table but I have also had lots of rib pains in the last few days with Solar activity. so that could be part of this as well. Again the knees have been really painful and I have had some issues with walking. Usually it’s the L knee but lately its been more the R side. This confirms for me, its definitely a symptom and not medical condition. Walking is hard, the knees are ok, but just so sore. Still feeling more for the area of Central CA and Coalinga Bakersfield, Fresno into Southern CA.   Still have the back pains for Indonesia,  R side earache for Taiwan, L shoulder blade pains for Japan, stomach, back, headache and heart for Turkey, more heart pains that say Mexico, L side headache and lack of patience, Chile, stomach pains and heart for  Imperial Valley, and the classic temple to temple headache and achy heart for Northern and Central CA continue. So far ants are still around although their numbers are less than last night. I gave them fresh apple and they usually like that. 1 cat sick. So that’s almost always Oregon, parts of Southern CA and or Japan if its over 6.0 Still feel something is building. Not sure what the frogs say a large water event is coming 12-24 hrs. I am still having rib pressure for a potential solar event that started 2 days ago. I have to remind myself to be careful walking very unsteady day today. Balance is off. Clumsy. Frogs = A quake in the water at least a 6.0 or greater within 12-24 hrs. Occasionally it can be up to 72 hrs for larger events. R upper arm has always been Taiwan based on past experience. EARTHQUAKE MEMORY JUNE 11, 1987 Lecture OES Newport OR Geary IL Quake 5.7 We were living in Newport Oregon, having fulfilled a dream of my husbands to live on the coast one time. It was nice, we walked the beach daily and stopped at small Oceanside restaurant called 4J’every evening. We would stop in at the end of each walk sometimes we’d walk a couple of miles and have a cup of their famous Clam Chowder then walk up the hill to out apartment. Soon we were on first name basis with the staff as well as some of the neighbors aka scientist who lived in the area. One man who lived near me was Dr. Bruce Mate. He was a whale specialist I had met him years before and all the sudden we were neighbors. He was involved at that time with the Hatfield Marine Science Center in South Beach. I had shared with him my earthquake theories he was always polite not sure he was a believer. It was about early summer when I was approached by a group of persons who lived in Newport including Jim Hawley who was the head of the OES in Lincoln County.  We had met earlier as his office was in Newport.  So there were people who were part of Ham Radio groups and others who wanted to know more about what I was doing so I agreed to come and talk with them at 4:30 PM June 10, 1987.  It was a nice day and I felt pretty good which I should have known that if I felt this good, it has to be the calm before the storm.  There was some other business and then I was on.  I was sharing information about what had transpired before such events as Mt St Helen’s major eruption and the quakes in Morgan Hill CA and Mexico in 1985 that one they activated the MARS Station which I believe was similar to our Ham Radio group but its Military.  I had been in touch with someone in the military who contacted me after the quake in  Mexico with MARS. We talked about what I was hearing and feeling and then all the sudden I started getting teeth chattering chills. I knew this was not a good thing.  It was definitely a quake precursor.  I shared this meant a quake, almost always over a 5.0 would be hitting along the Wasatch/New Madrid within 12-24 hrs.  The symptoms did not ease off even though I had some hot tea and put my jacket on.  So then just as quickly as the chills hit, I was hit with Intestinal flu symptoms and after that, I knew I had to leave It was not good for me to be out as I had to drive home even though it was very low traffic and I was only about  a mile away.  I tried to explain to them I was sick and had to go and I think they believed me, actually in hindsight it was a good thing as there were several persons there who did not have any faith in what I was doing and or believed any of it. Seeing an attack in progress is a game changer So I headed home I looked at the clock it was almost 5 PM. I arrived home, got into a warm robe and got some hot peppermint tea and also made some microwave popcorn. Then I knew I had to call Chris Dodge in Washington DC, who was in charge of the volunteer project he started for me called ” Project Migraine ” so I called him and left a message that a quake was going to hit most likely the New Madrid within 12-24 hrs. but it could be as long as 72.  Since Chris was working in DC this was an area I felt he needed to have a warning about. I Called a couple of others in the area like Dr Kriethen in MA.   I woke the morning of the 11th with my back hurting so bad I thought I had somehow slipped a disc over night. I could barely walk. On top of that I was still fighting nausea and some intestinal and stomach flu symptoms.  I knew it would not be long. I noticed one cat we had 2 was trying to get on top of the refrigerator which was a good indication something was up, I only prayed it was not local as I was only 2 blocks from the full force of the  ocean. This was not a good place for me to live and we began to make plans to move back to the valley as soon as our one year lease was done. So it was wait and see I was antsy and  could not relax, I wanted to go for a walk but put it off, I knew something would happen before 5 PM as that would be the 12 hours and I was pretty sure we were on a 12 hour countdown.  I was not surprised when the news came on at the beginning of the local 5 PM news, that a strong quake had rattled IL at 4:58 PM PDT,  centered near Lawrenceville IL. They gave it a magnitude of 5.2 an it caused minor to moderate damage and I was not really surprised when they said reports of the quake quickly came in from Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as from several cities in Ontario. So it was felt in 16 states and Canada. Based on the intensity of my symptoms and how quickly they came out of no where, I was sure it was going to be felt. Using the time I left the meeting, it was almost exactly 12 hrs from the time I got sick till the quake hit. Vindicated once more. So that’s my earthquake memory of June 11, 1987 New Madrid Quake centered in Illinois.
