Heads Up…
| APRIL 16, 2024 10:00 PM PDT 11:50 PM Update Final. This is a heads up for possible larger quake over 6.0+ within 12-72 hrs most usually its 12-24 hrs or less. I wish I could narrow it down but based on my symptoms, I am going to list the most likely areas the ones I am watching. The ants are gone. About 2 hrs ago. There were close to 200+ before noon. Symptoms are headache with some back of head pains R side that would usually tie into Philippines, Iceland, Alaska and some L side which is Indonesia, Japan. Turkey? There has been intense stomach pains and both stomach and intestinal flu symptoms in the last 4 hours. These symptoms are saying Big Bear, Joshua Tree and or Imperial Valley including Temecula and the Sierras. Then we have the Wasatch/New Madrid system OK, IL, TX etc.. possibly even India/Nepal The hard part is that it might not be any of these, but a new location. * addition: Sierras I am looking at Bishop Ridgecrest and Coalinga, ID, UT and New Madrid areas, Gulf of CA* Imperial Valley* I was in a hurry to get this out and didn’t read it before posting… No sick Cats so far today. Did a check and no earthworms on the ground sidewalk etc. at 6 PM I know this is not the kind of prediction you want but I have to go with what I am seeing and or feeling,. If things are good, the ants may have just decided to move on and it means nothing. I am so ok with being wrong. Charlotte 10:20 PM PDT April 16, 2024 I have been thinking about my heads up addition to the blog. I have rec’d several texts and emails, wanting more information so… Please understand I can only base my predictions on what I am feeling and what I have observed based on past experience. Its very hard to identify one state out of 25 or more that all have basically the same symptoms. So the Wasatch fault area: there’s been recent activity in ID,UT and NM, the New Madrid, this is a long one, but the areas included go from OK to NY and all in between. Most of these locations I have never experienced a quake in their state. recent quakes in OK, TX,KS, CT, MA, TN, MO, OH, IL and PA, VA and VT NC/SC and the NY area. So that’s why these are listed plus the ones I did react to like OK and IL. So all I am able to do as I said, is list the possibilities. These locations all cause the same Symptom, low back pains and seismic flu. Stomach pains and chills. But there are other locations with similar symptoms. So my apologies if this is not what you expected. This is me, warts and all. I can only respond to areas I have experienced in the past. 11:38 PM PDT I will do a quick check on the quakes and see if there is anything to add. Nothing jumps out at me. | This is a Overview of symptoms in the last 12 hours plus or minus 12 hours. Well since about 9 PM last night I had a more than normal headache and then I was hit with stomach pains. Thats not too unusual but the pains began to increase and I was getting pressure. My first thought was ” Maybe its the activity I was expecting in the Landers quake zone, specifically Yucca Valley etc. but I did not hear from my contact there. I was watching the area of The Geysers in N CA again as the quake count was about 336 for 7 days so a quake of 4.0 or greater was expected in N and or Central CA. The areas I watch includes The Geysers proper, then the geothermal springs of Healdsburg and Cloverdale, which back in 1982 I connected to the activity in the Sierras, at that time, specifically Mammoth Lakes and all the small cities along that Sierras but I was most interested in Bishop * Due to a personal experience in that area * and into the valley for me which included Coalinga, Avenal, and Fresno, Bakersfield and into the Grapevine and Castaic and into the Southern CA area. So we had some quake activity in The Geysers area yesterday and then the quakes showed up in Healdsburg and into the Sierras, near Mammoth Lakes. About 8 pm last night I was getting ready to kick back and watch some TV answer texts etc. All the sudden it was like being kicked in the stomach. I remembered this feeling from living in Sacramento I was pretty sure it was tied into the Sierras.. So the stomach pains were pretty intense and I had my old standbys of Hot Sweet Peppermint Tea and that didn’t help much, then I got some peppermint candy and it was not much help either, by then I was getting cold, internal chilled feeling.. could be tied into the pain. There were some very specific areas that cause these symptoms, and the list isn’t too long. It was mostly I watch India/Nepal, sometimes Turkey, Imperial Valley, Coalinga, Sierras, Landers Quake Zone and Cascades as well as Philippines, AK and Iceland then of course the Wasatch/New Madrid area and of course Oregon. So those are the areas of stomach pains. The pains were severe enough I took a OTC pain reliever as well as the basics natural things I always take. Got up about 3 AM and made some popcorn. Thought it might help me sleep. The other symptoms I had in the last 12 hours was mostly the leg pains. Both sides were hurting about the same amount, the pain centered near the knees and back of calves. This is classic for quakes in Peru/Brazil/Columbia Guatemala and Ecuador and sometimes Nicaragua and Panama. When they cut loose like this, its difficult to even walk. So I was hoping for some quake activity to release the pain. The next area was the ribs pain. Mostly tied into the L side which is Oceania and includes AU, NZ, PNG and the Kermadec Islands.Specifically there is N and S Island and Christchurch, NZ and New Ireland and New Britain PNG. It was time for an a/s from the 6.4 of 2 days ago in New Britain PNG. Right side is mostly the Dominos but to brief, its Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, and others including Santa Cruz, Solomon, Vanuatu and others. Complete list on the table at the of end this page. Headache the last week but more the last 2 days has been primarily volcanic in origin. When I say volcanic I don’t mean like a specific volcano, its more that they are generated by some kind of ongoing volcanism or hot spring activity. So these are known locations like The Cascades which our most famous area is St Helen’s and Mt Hood as well as Rainier. So these can and do cause lots of volcanic headaches. Then we have the Sierras, and this is a full list of locations I found that I reacted to living in Sacramento. It kind of follows a path. Mammoth, Mono, Bridgeport, Toms Place, Bishop, Coso Junction, Ridgecrest and China Lakes. The main ones were Mammoth, Mono, Bishop Ridgecrest and China Lakes. This is where most of the activity was happening. They all caused the classic headache. L side back of head, base of skull. This is reinforced by the frontal pain over the eyes or brow area and the eye sockets. You may not even know you have pain there till you accidentally bush your hand across your face and touch your brow area then you can’t ignore it. It really hurts. There was also some basic all over headache which goes with S CA into Mexico and some of it is part of the Imperial Valley.= which includes Baja CA MX and Gulf of CA.. among other locations. Back pain rounds out the symptoms with all the quakes all locations of back pains are hurting. which is low back there are so many locations most times its a pattern I am watching and and at times its just a calculated guess. The recent quake in W.TX has some concerns for me but I am continuing to watch that area. The other areas that are most likely would be by symptom. These would the ID, UT and MT which are part of the Wasatch. Then we get into the New Madrid which has far too many areas to list but the main ones are TX, OK, KS, AR, VA, CT, OH, IL, LA, TN and MO. Sometimes NC/SC and CO as well as AZ and NM. * besides TX we had a small 2.2 in NC today * That one tends to go with VA so will be watching that area. Mid Low back is basically just Tonga and Fiji. Mid back is Loma Prieta Quake zone specifically San Jose, Morgan Hill, Santa Cruz and Santa Clara county. THE GEYSERS TOTAL QUAKES FOR 7 DAYS TODAY IS 356 Full upper back is Indonesia.. Mid upper back is Turkey Finally I had a short bout of Frogs again last night about 11:30 PM. The last time I had them there was a 6.5 in PNG the day. So all they mean is a quake 6-6.5 or greater is likely within 12-72 hrs, more often 12-24 hrs. So waiting for this one. |

Frontal headache.. always volcanic across the brow bones Temple to temple headache N CA offshore or inland Eureka to the Bay. Center forehead pains.. Southern CA proper including LA and S. Heart pains.. sharp heart goes with S CA into Mexico, Japan over 6.0 and Italy, Hawaii *I can’t count the ones in this group who have combined symptoms*. Achy heart pains go with parts of Oregon, Washington, Northern and Central CA and many other locations. AREAS N. CA.. Ferndale, The Geysers Healdsburg, Eureka to the Bay. Loma Prieta Quake zone. Oregon possible event off Bandon area? Central CA.. Bishop, Sierras, Ridgecrest and Coalinga Southern CA.. Imperial Valley, Borrego Springs, Gulf of CA and Baja CA/MX Landers Quake Zone, Joshua Tree, Big Bear, Yucca Valley, Mexico Michoacan, Guerrero and Oaxaca * Puebla* Chile, near Tarapaca/ Bio Bio and Maule Bolivia/Argentina Peru, Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, Guatemala India Kashmir and Bangladesh Nepal 5.2 Andaman Islands. India Turkey including Greece/Crete and Dodecanese Islands. Papua New Guinea, N Island NZ and Kermadec Islands. N and S Islands NZ Japan, Kuril Islands, Kamchatka. New Madrid and Wasatch Fault USA. ID, UT, MT, * NM, AZ * CO, TX, OK, AR, VT, OH, VA, MO, TN AND VA, NC/SC and CT. * not expecting quakes in all the locations but they are the most likely to have an event* 3.1 S.TX ACTIVITY FOR PAST 12 HOURS Largest event in the last 12 hours would be Guam 5.5 and then 4.9 in Russia and 5.0 in Mindanao Philippines. At least 6 quakes have rocked the area of Ridgecrest in the CA /NV Sierras. the largest was 3.9 and the smallest was 2.0 There was also a small swarm of at least 10 quakes offshore CA The Gulf of CA.. the largest was 4.1 and the smallest was 3.3 * for my purposes this area falls into my ” Imperial Valley locations* this is an areas of some concern with the convergence of the N American and Pacific Plates and transform faults but mostly this areas is a direct path to the San Andreas Fault through Baja CA.. So this is an area I keep close watch on. Mostly S CA symptoms and a bit ear pains and heart pain thrown in for good measure. There was a small quake 3.2 in Puebla MX which I was expecting. 6 more quakes in Western TX and one in North Carolina. Micro quakes Grants Pass Oregon yesterday 1.1 Multiple quakes continue in Turkey, More the Azores, EL Salvador, Philippines, Peru, *Indonesia con’t to watch this area*. Just in 4.3 felt quake in Turkey.. the symptoms are in the chart below. I edited them into the info above because I should have added them in for the symptoms, it was an oversight on my part. I am really spacey today so this is why its not a good idea to go anywhere or drive the car, Its usually connected to larger water quakes, volcanic events, more local, in state events or Chile. Update 3:30 PM PDT Started to experience sharp stomach pains and moderate L side heart pains. Now I have had enough experience in over 45 years to recognize my symptoms as either external or physical ..but be careful if you get heart pains. MY BP was good and my heart rate is also good. so last night I texted a friend and sensitive that I had stomach pains and was having a lot of pain. So then we had the quakes early this morning in both Central CA and for me Imperial Valley. So about 30 minutes ago the sharp stomach pains started again and within a few minutes sharp heart pains. So again watching areas of Ridgecrest CA, Sierras *stomach pains* and Mexico, and Imperial Valley, * Gulf of CA * heart and stomach both go with Borrego Springs and India/Nepal. So watching. Also just had R side sharp heart pains more for Puebla MX/ That’s it for now. 3:42 PM There has been multiple events in W. TX and one in S TX. Quakes in Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Nicaragua, Andaman Islands, India, Gulf of CA, Argentina, Ridgecrest, Mexicali * Imperial Valley * N and S islands NZ and the Japan, and Taiwan. All these events were over 3.0 but the largest was 5.2 Andaman Islands, India * watch for Nicobar Islands India * and Taiwan 4.3 and 4.2 in Gulf of CA. Stomach pains continue .. picking up some solar symptoms as well. Am going to go and make some Peppermint tea and soda crackers. That’s usually for solar flu but the way my stomach hurts I am hopeful it will help with that as well. its 5:48 PM PDT. I will check for updates one more time tonight. Likely about 10 PM. |
| EARTHQUAKE MEMORIES Banda Aceh Indonesia Earthquake DECEMBER 25 2004 USA time. Note: The symptoms for Indonesia began on the 12-20-21st. I was sure that something was happening and it would be major. I had intense full upper back shoulder blade pains, my head was pounding and it was hard to focus. I was experiencing sharp deep earaches, both ears along with the migraine strength headache. I had severe sadness, and it was increasing. December 21 Major back pains and migraine headache, Very weepy sadness. Ant invasion began about 2 days ago and continues, they are all going to the 60 hertz., appliances. Cats started roof sitting today. So dizzy, I am walking into walls literally as well as other things. Very tired, craving popcorn. its been hard going to work if it keeps up will have to use sick time. Have to be careful using stairs at work. Pigeons were walking on the bridge. Noticed they were lining up on the wires by Safeway and when I drove to the store to pick up some last minute item I had forgotten, and noticed that the street lights on Edgewater NW went out as I drove under them, a visual testament that I was definitely being affected by something external. December 22 Still in waiting mode finding it more difficult to function grateful we are now on Christmas Vacation. Cats are all starting to react to what’s coming between roof sitting now they are opening cabinets and trying to hide and 2 have been on the top of the refrigerator.. Very needy and verbal. Casper and Misty both sick. Shadow trying to hide. ( I had 8 cats at that time, 2 were neighbors cats which decided they preferred living with me than where they lived.) Sadness is building, wonder if this is a * plane crash * or some other disaster? I have only had this kind of symptoms a few times in the past. Mexico City of 1985 was one of the worst I can remember. December 23 Based on past experience I would say that a major quake was building. Hard to get in the Christmas spirit but need to do last minute shopping. Almost bumped a car, driving is not such a good idea, especially in traffic. Short trips to store ok. Street lights went out tonight as I drove under them from town. Putting up Christmas Tree fell into the tree, having major balance problems. Migraine is intense finally took a Inderal 5mg. but it did not help much. Ants are climbing the walls.. higher than usual. Waiting last checked them about 10:30 PM. Report of 8.3 quake on Macquarie Islands but the pain does not go away and the ants are still gone. Cats still trying to hide. December 24 Christmas eve.. Sent Christmas Message to email subscribers. Finished some last minute food prep. But was so disorientated I was fearful of cutting myself when I was slicing veggies. Cats beginning to really get ancey. Laid down on sofa could not sleep, cats slamming cupboard doors in bathroom and have climbed up on kitchen counter and trying to get into cupboard above the refrigerator. Prepare for major quake.. possible locations.. first choice, Indonesia, due to the full upper back pains, earaches and migraine. Also watching China, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India/ Nicobar and Andaman Islands, since it’s a combination of earaches and heart.. especially if the quake is over a 6.5 or greater, some crackling noted about 9ish, this in the past has always been a major quake building. Ants are gone. Countdown 12-24 hrs. Notified friends and family a Big Quake was coming. Did not feel it was local but knew it was going to take lots of lives due to my symptoms. Called and left a voice mail for contact in WA and in CO. Christmas Day December 25 I was not able to cook my usual dinner I was too sick but I had called one of the stores you order a turkey, trimmings etc and all for one price, hot and ready to eat and delivered. With careful walking and movement I had been able to make my potato salad, and my mom’s famous Pumpkin Pies so we had desert. All I needed was the dinner. I was not going to be able to eat much anyway. I definitely did not want company. So lunch was pretty laid back and mostly I enjoyed the left overs with sandwiches hot or cold chips and potato salad and my moms pie recipe. Really intense migraine well dinner was not what I wanted, so opted for watching TV.. Upper back pain is intense, laying on heating pad, took Tylenol and muscle relaxer, getting sharp muscle spasms. My balance is really off.. Christmas and can’t even function. The sadness is building, I find myself crying at the comedies on TV. Based on past experience, a major quake is building 12-24 hrs. Breaking News: Quake Hit. The quake hit at if my calculations are correct on December 26th Indonesia time but it was 00:58 UTC so for us in the PNW we subtract 8 hours off that time which put the quake at 4:58 PM PST. Christmas day. The quake according to to the news was in Indonesia and off the island of Sumatra and Andaman Islands,..India. They official magnitude depends on who you ask but they have it listed between 9.1 and 9.3 there was a major Tsunami warning which went out to 18 different countries. The waves at one point were measured at 167 feet tall. A total and there could be more nearly 300,000 people died in the quake and the tsunami which followed. More than enough to account for the tears. The 9.2 quake was followed in the ensuing hours and days many major size quakes, including 7.2,6.6 Nicobar Islands, India. There were 9 quakes of 5.7-7.3 in the first 9 hours following the quake. My headache was starting to ease off the cats were back to their old habits of chasing one another. Christmas Day 2004 |
