| Synopsis After the 6 quakes yesterday actually Wednesday night offshore N CA and I posted a heads up … the symptoms eased a bit but were never gone. Then last night Merlin went into another one is his attacks, meowing trying to get outside etc So I was watching and I had some chest pains, mostly achy and the stomach pains as I described yesterday as “ green apple bellyache “ which is part o the Sierras areas, but the earaches are the giveaway the plugged and pressured pains…. So was waiting for an a/s or larger event offshore between Eureka to the Bay and SF Bay proper, again depending on what site you use its always different. So I use Eureka which is only about 3 miles different than Fortuna. Tried to sleep it was impossible, got up and made popcorn and checked and seen there were multiple quakes near Death Valley, but was both shocked but not surprised to see the quakes… 12 of them so far split between Stovepipe Wells and Rio Dell which is 26 miles from Eureka so we have 2 areas , Central CA and N CA which is not all that far from the previous quakes but its also part of Shasta area… But if you use Caltech list it shows all the quakes as Stovepipe Wells, EMSC shows them as Beatty which is actually in Nevada or Olancha CA which is only 56 miles from Ridgecrest so not 100% certain which I should be using, but will go with Stovepipe Wells Central CA. And Rio Dell/Eureka Northern CA . 2:58 AM R earache is starting again. Wonder if my kitty also gets ear pains and that’s why he is crying and running? But he was, right again. So I am going to make a list and check it. Still watching for Crete and Greece and Gulf of Aden and always watching for more in the Azores. Just checked and see that there has already been quakes in both Crete and Greece so expect more of the same…even 1 in the Azores . I tend to use the name Eureka since most people recognize the name and Eureka is only 29 miles from Rio Dell… Eureka to Fortuna is only 18 miles, Petrolia is 46 miles from Eureka… 3 near Shasta Lake and Dunsmuir are being interchanged as well. | Where Next: Well its pretty obvious that something is going on near Death Valley CA. Will continue to watch the area including Ridgecrest/Searles Valley. No CA is also pretty active watching the areas between Eureka and The Bay… The Geysers, Sierras and Coalinga. Mexico is really on my radar concerned about another plate tectonic event on Cocos or Nazca Plates. Turkey continues to shake. |
