The Awakening of Mt St Helen’s March 27, 1980 12:58 PM PDT
Regular blog update will be out tonight… note: We are in a new timeline beginning today through the April 2

It is Thursday March 27th I was having a quick cup of tea kids were off to school and hubby was at work. It was about 10:30 AM. I had an interview with a reporter who had come up to Salem from San Francisco to interview me for his newspaper The San Francisco Examiner. We had met the day before at a local restaurant for a pre interview just to get some basics out of the way, I remember picking up the soda bottle on the table, It was the old glass TAB© bottle and blew across it in order to show Mr. Sharpe the sound I hear which was and is like a constant fog horn after lunch he had another appointment so we agreed we would meet at a local park for the rest of the interview today. So I am ready to go and my headache which is always present was really pounding sounds were blasting constantly.. My balance was really bad I took a small dose meclizine .. fed the cat, let the dog in and was ready to go. We had agreed to meet at West Salem Park at noon I got there, parked the car an walked over to the picnic area it was 12:08 PM PDT. I saw the reporter from SF was already there and sitting at a picnic table writing something in a notebook. He greeted me with a smile and said go ahead and sit down. The park was mostly quiet except for a few little kids who were playing under the watchful eye of their moms. Ivan, the reporter asked me lots of questions, about what I was hearing, how did I feel, how did it start, when did the sound begin you know just the basics. Then we talked about the pain I was feeling.. I was telling him how on and off since I had gotten up I had been experiencing major head pain like a headache but in the back of the head, not over the eyes or front of the head where you expect a headache to take place but this was worse than the same kind of pain that led up to the first volcanic quakes at St Helen’s, on March 20th exactly one week ago. So we talked a bit more and he said, ” Can you make a face like your in pain ” I said “What do you mean ” he said “You know make a face grimace grit your teeth ” I said ” Why would I want to do that ? ” He said ” Its hard to explain the pain you are feeling in words I would like to take a couple more photos.” We had already done a couple of pictures sitting there when he was interviewing me. ” that show you in pain” I said to him in no uncertain terms ” I will not do that, ” and a few more words which are not printable that he would want or expect me to to do that.. he didn’t push too much and we continued the interview. He asked me about recent predictions and did any of my family also have this same ability or did I know anyone else who was doing this? I said no to both questions. It was close to 12:30 and I was starting to feel a bit sick. My ears began to plug up like when you are going up in elevation or what happens to me when I am at the coast. It was not as much pain and pressure and plugged feeling.. almost like a cold.. but the pressure would not release and I was just going to share that information with Ivan and suddenly I grabbed my head I must have made a moaning or other sound as Ivan looked up and grabbed his camera and said ” Oh that’s perfect ” he thought I had changed my mind about making a face with the pain.. but this was no joke, I was in pain. I thought for a minute I might pass out. I looked up and tears were pouring from my eyes and down my cheeks.. I was in major pain. “He said sit still”, I interrupted him and said ” Its the mountain ” grabbed my car keys which were on the picnic table, and ran to the parking lot to my car, unlocking the car I got in, started the car and turned on the radio, I had been listening to KXL out of Portland a song had just finished playing and he announcer seemed to be really excited.. and he said ” Okay folks we have a volcano in our back yard and yes we can call it that now.. we just had confirmation that Mt St Helen’s had just experienced its first ash eruption at 12:36 PM and there is a light coating of gray ash visible over the fresh snow.. Then I knew what I had suspected I was in sync with our Lady to the North Mt St Helen’s was now an active volcano. It had last erupted in 1857 so it had been over a 100 years since the volcano had shown any major signs of life. Mr. Sharpe was still shaking his head when we went back to the table, he said he would not have believed it if he had not seen the effect the mountain had on me with his own eyes, he said ” I am impressed ” … We talked a bit more and he left to drive up to Washington and head up to the mountain to see first hand what was happening up there and I headed home by way of the store and noticed the lines near the parking lot were lined with up to a hundred pigeons, this was something that became a precursor for not only St Helen’s but also for any large volcanic event or for large quakes in 1980. I was heading up the hill to the house and could almost physically feel the energy.. something I noticed on and off the rest of the time through the major eruption of Mt St Helen’s on May 18, 1980 and beyond. The volcano began to experience seismic activity beginning with the 4.2 quake on March 20th and continued with small events since that time. This came to a conclusion with steam explosions and the first ash eruption which rose to a height of 7, 000 feet into the air at 12:36 PM PDT March 27, 1980
