EARTHQUAKE REPORT MONDAY JULY 21, 2025

​​​​​UPDATE: I did not get up till about 9 AM today. Its been a rough day. 3 years ago today my husband passed. So lots of memories and what if’s or why’s… but then I realized my vision was/is really bad I had this issue on the day of the Alaska quake on the 16th and then it also connected to yesterday’s balance of the Blog update of the 19th. Today as of about 11 AM I can still see the cell phone texts but its getting worse. about 5 PM I had one cat sick, and then I noticed that my blurry vision was getting worse. Then about 5:30 my other cat got sick. Merlin has been running around most of the day crying running actually yowling and then pawing at the glass door… biting himself.. I have not seen him like this in quite a while. He finally calmed down and slept for a bit and then off and doing it all over again. Then Baby came in and she went to her half open box she likes and went inside with the outside mostly cut off.. and when she came out she has a tunnel they play in and she went into the tunnel about to her lower hips and just lay there.. so then Boots started crying and he was very needy. Now at 7:00 PM all 3 are resting. Baby is sleeping on the coffee table,Boots and Merlin are out side on the enclosed patio. I checked on my new Ant family and they are very active about 100 or so ants. They came down to about 2 dozen before the larger quakes in both Alaska and Kamchatka. Suspect Japan is not far in the offing Headaches are still bad today.. L side around L eye… and then the brow bone pains that signify volcanic activity. There was a very strange sound/symptom I had about 1:3o AM today. I have had it before and I always referred to it as ” puffing ” after saving a moth from the cats holding it in my cupped hand and feeling the flutters I have to rethink the description what I felt this morning was/is ” fluttering ” I had that soft fluttering feeling deep in my L ear lasting about 5 seconds no pain, but definitely a movement. Then I realized that the fluttering may be a change in air pressure? I have no idea what caused it but in the past its always connected to Mt Hood Oregon in the Cascades. Then I checked today there was a very small quake less than 1.0 and was less than 1 mile from Mt Hood. That could have been a fluke right? But this is the only quake at Mt Hood in almost a month. So maybe?, but I would have expected at least a 2.0. So it may not be over. At 7:45 PM I am mostly noticing the blurry vision. Hard to read the cell phone text and even more difficult to read the letters on my computer. So that brings me to now.. almost 8 PM.. still have L mid lower back pains for Tonga… sharp pains so expect a coming quake sooner than later. Low back pains for the Wasatch and New Madrid are at moderate levels. So I am continuing to watch areas of TX, TN,UT, WY, ID, NM, MO, AZ, SC, NC, and OK, IL and OH. Still watching Guatemala and parts of the Imperial Valley Rainier and Turkey and Chile. Its not too hard to type free form but when I have to go back and verify data and quakes, etc. its not so easy so that is what leads me to hold off on finishing the updates. Just in 6.3 in Kamchatka and that is likely what Merlin was yelling about but do not think its the cause of the cats getting sick… its usually a major quake like 7.0 events.. or perhaps one much closer like off the Oregon Coast again. Getting R side eye/temple pains. 8:10 PM… Earaches on and off both sides. So once again I beg your indulgence. I am waiting till maybe later tonight if my vision improves and tomorrow as soon as it clears some if I can’t do it tonight. The volcanoes that are erupting today are the same as yesterday. Japan: Kirishima Indonesia: Dukono, Semeru, Lewotolo Still getting some of the itching that goes with the solar activity. Some stomach/jabby pains with a few sternum pains which connects to Borrego Springs. Ears are both hurting. Usually Italy and Hawaii but I am not getting the sharp chest pains that go with those so keeping an eye on larger water events closer to 7.0 than 6.0 and eruptions. Based on my current list of symptoms something else must be up…the major quake in both Alaska and Kamchatka had some ear aches. Other than the expected events in Alaska and Kamchatka and the a/s list below, the areas I am still watching are. Turkey, Chile, Indonesia, Imperial Valley, Guatemala Mexico and India. SYMPTOMS: HEADACHE PAINS: L side headache is Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and some of the major quakes in Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey, and Tonga, these often connect to volcanic activity. R side headache mostly connected to Philippines, Iceland, Alaska and can be part of volcanic events in both Italy/ Etna and Kilauea/Hawaii and other volcanoes. Brow Bone Pain these quakes are mostly over the eye brow bone or eye socket in the case of Chile. They are a precursor to volcanic activity. Temple to temple pain these quakes are mostly tied to events in OR/WA and especially Northern and Central CA. This includes the quakes at the Cascades and Sierras including The Geysers and inland and offshore, including Mammoth Lakes Bishop/Coalinga and more . Frontal center of forehead pains are mostly connected to parts of Southern CA including Northridge and Landers Imperial Valley, and Los Angeles areas. Back of head base of skull pains these pains are really painful of migraine strength. They are always a precursor to activity that is building in a volcano either a magma chamber being refilled or tremors which are constant seismic events that proceed an potential eruption or major steam burst or dome building events. BACK PAINS: The mid upper back continues to be sore.. this is more for Turkey and Aegean, Caspian and Ionian Seas as well as Dedocanese Islands of both Turkey and Greece and areas of both Crete, Greece, Gulf of Adan and Syria. The full upper back pains are mostly connected to Indonesia. They can be both seismic or volcanic in origin. They also have areas connected these are the Banda, Molucca, Flores, and Celebes Seas. The mid lower back pains are R and L These are on the R side Fiji L side is Tonga Shoulder blades pains: The R side is the Kuril Islands L side is Japan. Wasatch and New Madrid…this involves up to 16-20 states which could be affected by a moderate to large quake in this area. This is a list of partial states I watch due to their consistent activity. ID, UT, AZ, OK, TX, NM, TN, MO, KY, AR and IL. WY, CO, KS, SC, NC SC, and IL VA OH CHEST PAINS: The sharp chest pains go with many area but to be concise I will say Southern CA into Mexico and Mexico proper parts of the Landers Quake Zone and parts of the Imperial Valley specifically Borrego Springs, El Centro and Mexicali, Calexico, Temecula..Quakes in Palm Springs, Whittier, Pasadena and Burbank. Simi Valley and Yucca Valley and Big Bear.. then we have Los Angeles proper including Northridge and Long Beach, Santa Barbara Channel, Palos Verdes and Santa Monica as well as San Bernardino and Oceanside, Julian and Oxnard as well as Riverside, Pomona and Santa Ana. Mexico the major states of Jalisco, Chiapas and Oaxaca, Michoacan. India etc. Puebla * Puebla is always on the R side of the chest. The achy chest pains are a bit different. They cover areas, not so much specifics but there are a few specifics. The areas are WA and OR Cascades but also includes Inland and offshore events. Then we go S to CA… and its Northern and Central CA which includes offshore from Eureka. Petrolia to the Bay and SF Bay proper.. Willits, and some of the Loma Prieta Quake Zone this includes San Jose, Morgan Hill and Santa Cruz.. There are also quakes at and Ridgecrest Bakersfield and Fresno etc. Adding Alaska, Iceland, Azores, parts of the African Continent. Most volcanoes including the ones in Indonesia and South and Central America. There is a volcano in Alaska they are watching it started to awaken again on or about June 15. There is on going quake activity. They are not overly concerned it might just be ice and snow melt. This volcano has not erupted since 1876 and is listed with the AVO * Alaska Volcano Observatory * as a High Threat Volcano in the US * Iliamna is the Stratovolcano and its located near Cook Inlet in Alaska. STOMACH PAINS: The achy pains there are two kinds of stomach pains. which go with many areas including the Cascades and Sierras or OR, WA and CA… The Geysers, and Healdsburg, Cloverdale Mammoth Lakes and Bishop/Coalinga. including Landers Quake Zone, Loma Prieta Quake Zone, Alaska, Iceland and Philippines, offshore from Eureka to the Bay,Wasatch and New Madrid area this includes UT, WY, CO, NM, AZ as well as TN, MO, KS, SC, NC and IL VA OH TX, ID… The Geysers ,Northern CA between Eureka to the Bay Oregon Coast, Iceland, Alaska, Sierras. Baja CA MX and Gulf of CA , Imperial Valley ,The Philippines. Cascades and the quakes today at Mt Rainier in Washington and the Oregon Cascades specifically Mt Hood Mt Adams and Newberry Caldera. The sharp stomach pains are Imperial Valley including Borrego Springs El Centro as well as India/Nepal and Myanmar. Parts of Southern CA including Los Angeles area and Santa Barbara Channel, Santa Monica and Palm Springs, Whittier Pasadena and Burbank… sharp stomach pains connect to Borrego Springs, El Central CA. India, Nepal Myanmar and Santa Barbara Channel and even … other areas including in the Imperial Valley Quakes in India today as well as Santa Barbar Channel Myanmar and Nepal. EAR PAINS: The L ear pains are China, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India/Nepal/Myanmar. There has been activity in all these areas in the last 24 hrs.China with Xizang. Afghanistan with Hindu Kush Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, Nepal and Myanmar. India has been active with both Nepal and there are 2 other areas in India I watch. I used to put them on the list but just too much typing. So they are the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Heart and stomach pains as well as earaches on L side. The earaches also go with larger water events over 6.0+ and with volcanic eruptions as well as Palm Springs Whittier, Pasadena and Burbank and Italy, Sicily and Hawaii. R Side Ear pains. this goes with Philippines and Alaska Iceland and includes, Taiwan, Leeward, Windward, Trinidad, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. Again the R ear will often hurt with quakes in the same locations as water events over 6.0+ and with volcanic eruptions as well as Palm Springs Whittier, Pasadena and Burbank and Italy, Sicily and Hawaii. RIB PAINS: Left rib pains are connected to Oceania. This includes AU, NZ, PNG and Kermadec Islands NZ. The quakes in PNG can include New Guinea PNG and Eastern New Guinea PNG as well as quakes in New Ireland and New Britain PNG. Sometimes Christ Church is also part of this area. The R Ribs are The Domino Islands. This includes Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, Marianas, Admiralty, Loyalty, Marshall, Santa Cruz, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. LEG PAINS: L Leg pains connect to Guatemala and Ecuador. R Leg pains are connected to Peru, Brazil, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica. VISION: Not great but not any worse than the last few days. Areas I am watching for potential larger quakes based on possible foreshocks or number of events: Still watching for more in Turkey Indonesia, Chile, Mexico and Africa. Lots of the activity with the African Continent in the last 24 hrs. Watching for more and larger of the Nicobar Island India could transfer to Andaman Islands India. Based on the recent quakes in Central Mid Atlantic Ridge the potential for South and Central America, Mexico, and NMSZ Falkland Islands and Africa. Current a/s Timelines.
