EARTHQUAKE REPORT August 16, 2025
| UPDATE: Last time I checked the quake report was about 3 PM 8/16/25 Today has been a bit calmer but not quiet. The day began with Merlin immediately going into full anxiety more he cried for over 30 minutes and then calmed down that would have been about 10:30 AM He ate a bit of his food and then sat at the patio door window crying… we had a sprinkle and it was a bit cool so I did not want tko open the back door. The others were fine, no left behind surprises that showed the cats had been sick. About 1 PM Merlin was again running crying and hiding, and Baby was acting a bit off, scratching and trying to get into several different boxes.. and so after checking the temperature I decided to open the back door and boots ran out and checked out the patio then Merlin went out he was crying loudly and he sounded like he was in pain, he wasn’t but he was looking all around ears alert. then he went under a chair and stayed a bit then jumped up on the cushions where he sleeps. Then my Baby girl went out she always makes a beeline for the big chair and curls up under it by the open lattice works so she gets lots of fresh air and a good view of the back area but she surprised me by going under the same chair as Merlin and jumped up on the cushions next to him. This is the first time I saw him doing this. So I came back inside and crashed and slept till about 5:30 PM it was not deep sleep but it was at last a bit restful. There has been lots of quakes today most of them were all under 5.0 there was only 4 quakes that stand out with a 5.0+ magnitude. These were from largest to smallest. 5.8 Sulawesi Indonesia,5.6 Kyushu, 5.5 Tonga, 5.2 Taiwan, and 5.1 Loyalty Islands. The res of the quake activity was all under 5.0 Turkey still has the largest number of quakes in 24 hrs. Symptoms: Headache earaches, back pains, L leg pains and intense sleepiness. Some stomach pains and itching . Balance Issues There is so much issues with balance again today. But once I am up and walking it seems that the symptoms ease off. Then its safe to go outside and do what needs to be done from getting water from the garage to putting recycle items in the cart. Solar Activity: I have not checked the solar activity since mid day. | BALANCE: Balance was not great today had a short period of time that I was actually having concerns about being on my feet but it only lasted about 20 minutes. This was a day where I walked into door jams and almost fell taking dishes out of the dishwasher. Cats: As reported in the update, the cats were okay but Merlin had a few bouts of crying hiding and running around. Ants: The ants are still in a good place and they are pretty much staying in their food dish. I can’t believe how much they love banana bread. So if they should disappear, there is good reason to believe they were reacting to some kind of precursor quake, volcanic or solar. No Spiders . So very grateful there has been no spiders sighted. No Earthworms Again very happy no worms on the ground in a very long time. Out of area reports. AZ reports leg pains, back pains, and balance issues… joints sore and swollen. Solar activity: Still the way it was the last time I checked it it was the same as yesterday which was a solar wind stream which could cause a minor G storm on the 18-19th There has been sternum pains and lots of itching especially the mid back area and hips…this has been a precursor for impending solar activity in the past. Sounds and Frogs: The horn honking sounds and dual tones for the N sound. A few of the short tones of N CA.. Then there were frogs mid morning and they there were also frogs reported in CA and AZ as well as CO. |
| SYMPTOMS: We are trying to do this another way… the basics are on each location and I will have this information on the updates.. I will only add my paragraph of what I was experiencing … HEADACHE PAINS: The headaches of today have been 3 locations. Most of it was L side including the eye socket and temple. The a or quakes always seem to be tied into this area…. Turkey, Mexico, Chile, Indonesia etc. The second was just above the brow bones which is Temple to Temple. There was bit of R side headache which connected to Philippines, Iceland and Alaska. Finally the temple to temple pains that connect to Northern and Central CA as well as Oregon/Washington State Cascades, The Geysers, Sierras and parts of the Loma Prieta Quake Zone and Landers Quake Zone Inland and offshore Oregon and Central and Northern CA. R side headache Alaska, Philippines Iceland, Azores ( Hawaii/Italy ) L side headache Chile, Turkey, Indonesia, Mexico and most Stratovolcanoes Brow Bone Pain This is classic that the pains that hit over the bones. ( can include eye socket ) Temple to temple pain Northern CA and all of Northern and Central CA to the CA/cNV Sierras. Frontal center of forehead pains Southern CA including Los Angeles and Imperial Valley etc. Back of head base of skull pains This is always a precursor to new or on going volcanism. BACK PAINS: The back pains today have been contained to multiple locations and it could have been the way I was sleeping. ? These would be most painful, mid upper back for Turkey and the full upper back connected to Indonesia and the mid back sides of R side Fiji and L side Tonga. Finally the Low back pains or the Wasatch/New Madrid some of the areas I am watching area..ID, UT, AZ, OK, TX, NM, TN, AR, IL. WY, CO, SC, NC/ SC,VA VT, NJ, (* there can be more or less *) and the R side shoulder blade pains continue so expecting more for Kuril Islands. A/S expected at Papua Indonesia. The mid upper back Turkey with connections to Aegean, Caspian, Ionian Seas & Dodecanese Islands of both Turkey and Greece, Crete and Syria The full upper back Indonesia, Banda, Molucca, Flores and Celebes Seas. The mid lower back pains are L L side is Tonga Islands The mid lower back pains are R Re is Fiji Islands Shoulder blades pains: The R side . Kuril Islands can be either Japan or Russia. The L side This is Japan… can include may locations most often Honshu and Hokkaido. Wasatch and New Madrid… ID, UT, AZ, OK, TX, NM, TN, MO, KY, AR and IL. WY, CO, KS, SC, NC SC, and IL VA OH, VT, NJ, and there can be more. EARS: The ear involvement today has been very low. Just a brief few minutes on the R side side which includes Taiwan and Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. There were quakes in Taiwan and Nicaragua etc as I had expected. The L side had a deep pain period on and off for about a hour mid morning. This would be more in Pakistan, India, Nepal Myanmar Hindu Kush Afghanistan and India.? A/S for Kamchatka are due perhaps multiple times due to the many quakes over 6.0 since the 8.8 event. R side earache This connects this is Alaska, Philippines and Italy and Hawaii. Taiwan, Leeward, Windward, Trinidad, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. L side earache China, Pakistan, Afghanistan ,India, Nepal, and Myanmar. Both ears can go with some quakes in Southern CA and larger water or volcano events. CHEST PAINS: Very little of the sharp chest pains since the last update. Only for a few minutes and this was likely connected to quakes in the India, Imperial Valley, and parts of Italy and Hawaii. The achy chest pains I am still watching the Cascades, offshore N CA and Sierras as well as Alaska, Philippines and Iceland.. The sharp chest pains Southern CA into MX and into Japan over 6.0 and some large water events. Borrego Springs El Centro, Brawley, Oxnard, Long Beach, Rialto, Palm Springs, Whittier, Pasadena and Burbank, Then we have Japan over 6.0 and India, Nepal and Myanmar. Santa Barbara Channel and Santa Monica as well as Los Angeles greater area, Palos Verdes and Northridge as well as Anaheim area. The achy chest pains Parts of Cascades, Sierras, Northern CA between Eureka to the Bay and SF Bay proper The Geysers and the CA/NV Sierras as including Bishop, Coalinga, Ridgecrest, etc. Alaska and Iceland. Puebla * Puebla is always on the R side of the chest all is Puebla. Another 3.3 in Puebla MX. STOMACH PAINS: The sharp stomach pains seem to be connected only to Imperial Valley and Hawaii and India, Nepal, Tibet and Myanmar. The achy pains connect to the areas of Wasatch and New Madrid this can connect to Alaska, Iceland and Philippines as well as The Cascades, Sierras, The Geysers, in and offshore Eureka or Crescent City to the SF Bay, Northern to Central CA and into Mammoth Lakes, Bishop and Coalinga parts of Yucca and the Landers Quake Zone. The achy pains This is the area of the Wasatch and new Madrid including ID, UT, AZ, OK, TX, NM, TN, MO, KY, AR and IL. WY, CO, KS, SC, NC SC, and IL VA OH, VT, NJ, and there can be more. The ones like ID, UT, IL, AR, K and IL all cause seismic flu. Alaska, Philippines and Iceland and some of the Cascades. The sharp stomach pains These are mostly connected to Imperial Valley, to India, includes, Nicobar and Andaman Islands, Nepal, Myanmar, Tibet, Kashmir and Bangladesh …… RIB PAINS: The L side ribs are Oceania in include AU, NZ both N and S Islands, PNG and the Kermadec Islands. Quakes still continuing in both N and S Islands well as as the Kermadec Islands.. PNG can also be part of this mix. The R side Dominos and most active are Tonga and Fiji as well as Loyalty Islands and Vanuatu and Marianas and Santa Cruz as well as others.. There is good chance or A/S in Santa Cruz or Solomon Islands as well as Fiji A/S is due. Left ribs Oceania including AU, NZ, PNG NS the Kermandec Islands. New Ireland and New Britain, Eastern New Guinea PNG and Papua New Guinea PNG as well as the N and S Islands of NZ.. R Ribs This is the Domino Islands..Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, Marianas, Solomon, Santa Cruz, Admiralty, Loyalty, Marshal, and Vanuatu. LEG PAINS: The most painful is the L leg pains.. this is connected to the areas of Guatemala and Ecuador and there has been multiple quakes in both locations. Guatemala seems be be reacting to the recent moderate quake in the last week and then the ones in Ecuador continue and can be part of the Azores and others… The R leg pains as expected showed up with quakes in Panama and Costa Rica even the Panama and Costa Rica border and even the areas of Peru . L Leg pains Guatemala and Ecuador R Leg pain Peru, Brazil, Columbia, Panama and Costa Rica. VISION: As I have stated the vision has been connected to balance issues at least for me and some others who are sensitive . SOLAR ACTIVITY: There has been on going symptoms but per solar ham we are waiting for the solar winds to hit on the 18-19th Monday and Tuesday.
